The Saint Olav's Festival
This is a church and cultural festival arranged every year around St. Olav's Day on 29 July. The festival lasts over a week, comprising more than 150 events including recitals, outdoor recitals, opera, exhibitions, church services, courses, master classes, pilgrim walks, lectures, a historical fair, and activities for children. Festival events are arranged at arenas across the city, but the main arenas are Nidaros Cathedral and the Archbishop's Palace.
