This week's readings are Paul pondering the possibilities and consequences of being wrong about the resurrection and Luke's version of the Sermon on the Mount plus what are known as 'the woes' - the consequemces of us getting it wrong about selfish behaviour and how God sees it. Jesus has a go at those who are smirking 'Woe to you who are laughing now, for you will mourn and weep'; not to be read as Jesus being against having fun - as some Christians might have us believe!
