Brita Sjöberg kommer fra Dalarna i Sverige. I 2005 tok hun mastergrad i kirkemusikk fra Musikhögskolan i Piteå, hvor hun studerte orgel. Deretter fulgte studier i solistklassen ved Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium med påfølgende debutkonsert i Sankt Markus Kirke, København i 2008.

Hun har bodd i Norge siden 2010, og fra 2022 har hun arbeidet som domkantor i Nidaros domkirke.

Sjöberg har gitt konserter rundt om i Skandinavia og øvrige Europa, og medvirket som artist ved flere internasjonale musikkfestivaler. Sjöberg er kunstnerisk leder for Trondheim i nettverket ECHO; European Cities of Historical Organs.

Brita Sjöberg comes from Dalarna in Sweden. In 2005 she received a master's degree in church music from the Piteå Academy of Music, where she studied organ. This was followed by studies in the soloist class at the Royal Danish Academy of Music, followed by a debut concert in St. Mark's Church, Copenhagen in 2008.

Since 2010 she has lived in Norway and has held the position as Cathedral organist at Nidaros Cathedral since 2022.

Sjöberg has given concerts around Scandinavia and the rest of Europe and has participated as an artist at several international music festivals. Sjöberg is artistic director for Trondheim in the ECHO network; European Cities of Historical Organs.
