Benoît Mernier regularly performs as a soloist in several European countries, Japan, Mexico, Canada.
Mernier is also a composer. His music is performed by a number of ensembles and orchestras in Europe and the USA. He has won several international awards, and his works have been the subject of several recordings.
He is professor of organ at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels. He is also organist at the church of Notre-Dame du Sablon and curator of the organ at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels. He is a member of the art class of the Royal Academy of Belgium and gives master classes in composition at the Queen Elizabeth Chapel.
Mernier is also the artistic director for Brussels in European Cities of Historical Organs network (ECHO).
